First, the electric hoist overview

Electric hoist is a kind of light and small lifting equipment widely used in industrial manufacturing, storage and transport, building construction and other fields. Its main features include: compact structure, small size, light weight, strong carrying capacity, easy to operate, can be installed in electric single girder, double girder, cantilever and gantry cranes alone or integrated use, with a high degree of versatility and flexibility.

Second, the composition and structure of electric hoist

The overall structure of the electric hoist by the mechanical system and electrical system consists of two major components, the specific structure is as follows:

1. Mechanical part:

- Reducer: used to reduce the motor speed and enhance the output torque;

- Lifting motor: to provide lifting power for the hoist;

- Travelling motor: to move the hoist along the track;

- Reel unit: for winding and unwinding the wire rope or chain;

- Hook device: for hanging the hoisted load;

- Couplings, breakers, travelling wheels and other components work together to ensure the stability and load bearing capacity of the equipment.

2. Electrical parts:

- Power switch (iron box switch), control box: to manage the electrical system start/stop and function selection;

- Power supply cable and slide contact line: transmit power to the equipment running position;

- Collector: interface device for current input and transmission;

- Safety limiters, push-button control switches, etc.: to ensure the operational safety and convenience of the operation process.

Electric hoist adopts electromechanical integration design, usually through the slide contact line for power supply, the operator through the button handle to control the control circuit within the electrical system, so as to control the lifting, walking and other functions, to achieve efficient material lifting operations.

Third, the classification of electric hoist

From the structure and drive mode, electric hoist can be subdivided into the following categories:

1. According to the lifting mechanism:

- Electric wire rope hoist: wire rope around the drum to achieve lifting, suitable for high frequency, large tonnage operations;

- Electric chain hoist: alloy chain and sprocket structure, smaller, suitable for small and medium-sized load and mobility of the workplace.

2. According to the type of power supply:

- Single-phase electricity (220V) hoist: suitable for home, shop or small workplace;

- Three-phase (380V) hoist: suitable for industrial manufacturing and construction and other high-power applications.

3. According to the implementation of standards:

- National standard electric hoist: the implementation of national standards, performance and safety factor is higher;

- Non-standard electric hoist: customised according to the user's special needs, such as special lifting height, explosion-proof, anti-corrosion and other special environmental requirements.

Electric hoist by virtue of its high adaptability and flexibility, almost covering all types of lifting and handling scenarios. Users should fully consider the use of the environment, power conditions, lifting capacity, lifting height and other key parameters when choosing, choose the appropriate model and configuration to maximise operational efficiency and safety.
